I'm Back!

Kinda... LOL  I hope everyone had a good holiday and are safe on New Years!
I just wanted to make a quick post of my "New Years Resolutions".  I still have yet to figure out the issue with posting pictures )-:  So until I figure that out this will be more of a diary.  On to my Resolutions!

1.  BLOG MORE (lol, seriously)
2.  Tone up for summer.
3.  Have a positive outlook on life.
4.  Save up for my own place.
5.  Try new & exciting things. ( I NEVER try anything new, ever)

What are some of your Resolutions??  I'll add more as I think of them!

Still No Pictures

For some reason I still cannot get my pictures to work so for the time being this is going to be a typed only blog.  How boring, right? I know... hopefully I can get this fixed.. Anyhow, I'm starting to feel better finally.  Did anybody buy anything today during the coach sale?? I wanted to but I knew I really shouldn't so I contained myself. ::pats self on back::  I'm one of those people who sees a sale and will find something that I "need" lol  But I'm still not working and really need to be saving every penny and not using my credit card anymore... However, I do need boots... You're probably laughing at me, but I truly do NEED boots.  All I own are flats and heels, not even one pair of sneakers or boots.  I was living in Cali for 3 years and really had no need for actual boots.  I got a coupon for $15 off $49.99 at DSW a few weeks ago and I checked out one location but didn't see anything worth the price so I might try another one just to see if they have anything else or if I happened to miss something... However, there are two pairs I found on aldoshoes.com that I might check out... UGH why do things need to cost money?!

Quick Update

I just wanted to say I'm still having issues with adding more photos and haven't figured out how to get them working! GRR.  Also, I've been sick for the past few days and still am not feeling that well... I'm hoping to feel better soon so I can REALLY play around with this and attempt to get it working again.  I also want to work on my layout...it's not really "me".  Anyhow, I just wanted to let you guys know I have not stopped blogging, just having a few issues lol.  Hope to be back soon!!!

Purple Sweater from A'GACI Review

As you can probably notice from the picture of me wearing this shirt, it is very long... More like a sweater dress for me which I wasn't expecting.  I'm not quite sure why I thought it wouldn't be so long on myself, I highly doubt the model is 4'11, lol.  The quality is good for the price.  I surely won't be wearing this in the dead of winter without a sweater, scarf and jeans.  Although it isn't very thick, that was evident in the stock photo.  By the sheerness of the bust area and being able to see the models bra through it, one should not assume when purchasing that it will be a heavy material.  That makes me really like this company thus far.  They could have easily altered that to appear more opaque, which would probably attract more buyers, however they did not.  I have washed this sweater dress (haha) once and the color is still great and no loose threads.  I did put it in a lingerie bag to be on the safe side though.

Breast Cancer Foundation

Do you like yogurt?  How about purchasing Dannon this month instead of your typical.  I'm not sure about where you live but where I live there is no difference in price from the Dannon brand to the Store brand.  The only difference this month is when you purchase Dannon theres a code under the lid, when it's entered into their website (www.cupsofhope.com) they donate .10 to the Breast Cancer Foundation.  It doesn't have to be the "fruit on the bottom" kind, Dannon has about 5-6 different kinds to choose from and they all have this under the lid.

Maybe you don't like yogurt....try telling family members who do to purchase this brand instead (or any other brand that is doing this as well, its right on the front of the yogurt package!) and give you all the tops to enter into the website.  Personally, I do not eat yogurt but my daughter loves it.  It makes me feel good to be able to contribute in such a small way.  I've (or should I say, my daughter) has already "donated" about $2 already.  It really adds up, and I believe they will be doing this until January, I think I read that somewhere.

I did more online damage today...shame on me.  Here's what I got...

These were all found on the kids site in the sale section!  Nothing was more than $15 isn't that awesome??  The last item I actually got in a Coral color but when I went back to get the image it was sold out.  I thought it was a really cute layer piece under a plain cardigan since I own about 30 cami's and they're all a plain color with no lace or anything,  I'm such a plain Jane.  I really hope everything fits, I ordered a large in everything but the zip-up sweater I have on right now is a Medium in kids.... the shirts tend to run smaller so lets hope I made the right choice!

I've been such a homebody lately which results in online shopping that I really can't afford.  I hate this rainy crap weather.  I miss Cali right now.  The weather is almost always nice enough to go for a walk in.  New England weather = 9/12 months cold, rainy, snowy.  Cali weather = 9/12 months sunny, nice, comfortable....everything happens for a reason though and there's a really really good reason why I'm over here now and no longer there........... one day I'll know that reason.

Day 3

Day 03; Name a habit you wish you didn't have

Biting my damn lips!!!  I hate it, I peel them when I'm bored, tired, stressed, annoyed, upset, anxious etc...  I don't even notice it half of the time until I go to put on lipstick and you can see all the little pieces of skin.  How gross!?  I don't even know how the habit began....*thinks* maaaaaybe it's from when I was about 13 and I used to bite my nails but then I got acrylics which helped me stop, maybe I picked up this habit because I could no longer knaw on my nails? ::shrugs:: who knows, all I know is ME NO LIKEY!!

What kind of habits do you have?  This is just one of my many habits, but the only one that truly bothers me because it affects my face/skin lol (btw, I don't drink, smoke, or do drugs)....those aren't part of my many habits.

Turned Up Turquoise

 Currently Sally's beauty supply is having a sale on Orly nail polish 2/$5 and save $1 on two China Glaze polishes.  I wanted to take advantage of both but only took advantage of one sale.  I tend to fall in love with every nail polish color I ever see so I narrowed it down.  Right now I am wearing "Turned up Turquoise".  I also purchased "Shower Together" which I was wearing yesterday but forgot to take pictures before I took it off.  Here's the turquoise color:

I really like this brand and color.  I have a few China Glaze nail polishes because I used to work at Sally's so I took advantage of my discount BIG TIME! lol  All it takes is 2 coats to get the color in the bottle.  This shade is a little different than the regular China Glaze colors.  Normally they have a nice shiny finish but this one is matte...still very pretty but with how often I was my hand I need a top coat.  Which BTW, Out the Door is my favorite.  It dries very quickly and doesn't chip off like I've noticed with some other quick dry top coats, but what works for one may not work for all.

Some online shopping

I've been feeling a little less than happy lately so what better way to cheer yourself up than some online shopping???  I wasn't too bad, I know I need things for fall and winter after moving from Cali to the east I have nothing.  I stuck to sweaters and cardigans, although I do need boots I think I'm going to wait so I have more options.  Here are the things I ordered today from A'Gaci (www.Agacistore.com) and LoveCulture (www.LoveCulture.com).  I have never ordered from either site before so when I get them I will do a review for you guys.

I loved the purple on the model so I got the same.  I'm loving the ruched sleeves that are in this season!

Got this in gray.  I love that it can be worn with jeans but would also look appropriate with slacks.

This is just a plain black cardigan but I figured you can't have too many cardigans nor too much black when it comes to fall and winter.

This is called a "preppy v-neck sweater" I thought that sounded cute and is exactly what I've been looking for!  I love these simple sweaters.

Hopefully you guys like my picks, nothing too amazing but things that I truly needed... Now I just hope quality is good and size fits perfectly.
